Automated Build Support

Building large systems can take hours, or even days. An inefficient build process can waste hours of developer time, particularly during testing where a system may need to be completely rebuilt to test a small change.

As the development / release cycle progresses, the ability to automate the building of older versions of a system become important. As users report bugs and problems with older releases of software, it can be important to be able to extract and build the exact version of the system that was given to the user.

Note that only the Enterprise Edition of Team Coherence supports Automated Build as standard, but the TCBuild addin can be purchased as an optional addin for the other versions
