Version 7.2.1.52 Released
10-Oct-2011
Update to fix an issue with the last version of the TC Server. The issue caused
the server to occasionally shut down without warning. This issue was only
reported by a few users using version 7.2.1.51 of the server and has been
resolved in this release.
On the client side, as well as fixing a few minor issues, we have improved the
'New Files' panel in Version Manager. The New Files panel can now recursively
search all subfolders of the selected folder and find all files that need to be
added without the user having to add each folder individually as currently. This
means that you can now add all files matching the New Files Filters in a single
step.
Users can now also define their own folder for storage of settings and cached
data. This can be found In the Tools/Options/Other page of both Tracker and
Version Manager. Definition of this path can include environment variables.
In addition, the issue where, under 64-bit Windows, the individual panels in
Version Manager and Tracker did not resize correctly when the main window was
resized has now been fixed.

Remember that the client updates are always free, and will run against version
7.1 of the server. If running against a 7.2 version of the server, additional
functionality will be available.
Development is continuing on the 64-bit (Windows and Linux) versions of the
Server. If you would be interested in beta-testing either the Linux or Win64 versions, please contact us.
If you are waiting for the Rad Studio XE2 IDE Integration, we are currently
working on it and should have something available in the next couple of weeks.
In the short term, you can download the source code for the IDE integration
from:

and build it yourself.
Version 7.2.1.47 Released
01-Feb-2011
The latest release mainly affects Version Manager: We have added a new style of View based on dates to allow users to work with files in the state they
were in on a particular date rather than having to use a Version Label or
Promotional Label.
This can be very useful in situations where the files you need to access were
not version labeled, or where they have been deleted from a project and are
still in the Recycle Bin.
In addition to the above, several minor tweaks have been implemented to help
improve overall performance.
Note: to use the new Date based Views, you will need to upgrade to the latest
version of the server. If you are still using v7.1 of the server, you can
upgrade your licenses using the following link:
If you would be interested in beta-testing either the Linux(32/64) or Win64 versions, please contact us.

Version 7.2.1.46 Released
24-Jan-2011
Minor update as part of our ongoing conversion of the code base to support 64-bit Windows and Linux. During the process we have made some changes to improve
performance both on the server and the client.
Other than the changes mentioned above, the following changes have also been
made:
- Version Manager - Added the ability to get/checkout by date.
- Tracker - Added the ability to query by 'Requested By' field.
The conversion is an on-going process (Server/Command-line first, then the UI client), and we will be making fairly regular updates to the 32-bit version of both the client and server in the process, so keep an eye on our site.
The installer has also been updated and, for the server, now creates the default repository in the Windows AppData folder to avoid UAC issues.
If you would be interested in beta-testing either the Linux(32/64) or Win64 versions, please contact us.
